About our hotel.

Grand Coastal is one of Guyana’s most prestigious hotels. In 2001, it started as a 19 room inn. Subsequently, we expanded in 2005 and grew our business to a 43 room boutique hotel.

This family-owned business celebrates the richness of Guyanese culture and hospitality whether you are here to stay or just dine with us. We enjoy creating a unique and personalized experience for our guests.

We are located on the premier eastern coastline of the Demerara River. It is approximately 10-15 minutes drive from the Garden City, Georgetown, and eight (8) minutes drive from Eugene F. Correia International Airport.

Upon entering this charming hotel, you will feel right at home — the atmosphere is warm, friendly and intimate. And every room is designed with your comfort in mind. They are elegant, yet cozy, spacious and comfortable. Our guests are welcome to stay in our standard room, double deluxe room or luxury room types.

We use only fresh, high quality, locally sourced ingredients. Our restaurant offers local as well as international cuisine specially prepared by our talented chefs and kitchen staff.

At the bar, enjoy our selection of wines or treat yourself to one of our delicious cocktails. We have an extensive list and a variety of premium liqueurs, whisky, brandy, beer, and soft drinks.

We also offer catering and event planning services for your special occasions. We create menus to suit every function. Reservations or enquires can be made via email or phone.

All bookings are confidential and can be made online. Check-in is available between 4:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. and check-out begins at 12:00 p.m. We accept Visa Cards, Master Cards, and American Express.
