Room Deposit

A one night’s deposit is required to confirm your booking. Once received your room is guaranteed. Bookings made through online agencies may vary. Some of the online booking sites may require the full payment before confirmation.

Credit card authorizations done directly through Grand Coastal Hotel may require scanned copies of your identification.

WiFi Internet

There is free wireless internet across the hotel. Please ask a front desk staff restaurant server for the passport if not provided during check-in. To preserve the bandwidth, some HQ video streaming have been capped.

Smoking

GCH has a strict no-smoking policy on hotel grounds. Based on government regulations, we cannot permit smoking in rooms nor shared public spaces where food and drinks are served.

Anyone found to be smoking or having smoked in a room will be subject to a fine of $100 US. You are permitted to smoke outside of the hotel once further than 16 feet from any entrances.

Insects

We regularly spray with family grade insecticides to keep all our local pests at bay. However, since we are a tropical country, mosquitos and sand flies are common.

Your windows are equipped with mesh, but your door is not. Please keep them closed at all times. The front desk has repellent for sale should you need.

Parking

Free public parking is located on the western side of the hotel. This area is patrolled and monitored by our security. Please do not allow your valuables to be visible in your vehicle. If you leave valuables in your vehicle, please secure them.

Grand Coastal Inn Inc. is not liable for items lost or property damaged on public parking areas.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary based on the source of booking (direct, web site, online agency). Please note your confirmation e-mail or call Grand Coastal for clarity.

Individual (5 rooms or less)

  • No cancellation fee if cancelled more than 36 hours prior to intended arrival.
  • 100% of room’s deposit* if cancelled less than 36 hours prior to intended arrival.

Group (5 rooms or more)

  • No cancellation fee, if cancelled more than 30 days prior to intended arrival.
  • 100% of rooms’ deposit* if cancelled less than 30 days prior to intended arrival.

Corporate Individuals* (5 rooms or less)

  • No cancellation fee if cancelled more than 24 hours prior to intended arrival.
  • 50% of room’s deposit* if cancelled less than 24 hours prior to intended arrival.

Corporate Groups* (5 rooms or More)

  • No cancellation fee if cancelled more than 14 days prior to intended arrival.
  • 50% of rooms’ deposit* if cancelled less than 14 days prior to intended arrival.
*Corporate clients can benefit from management discretion on cancellations based on situation.
