Description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at the restaurant and bar of our boutique hotel. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for our valued guests.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
- Process payments and provide guests with accurate change or receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including keeping it stocked with necessary supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Handle guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the management team
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Stamina to handle a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
